Back on Track

October 9th, 2006 at 01:38 am

This has been a stay at home weekend. I did manage to get the house semi-clean which was my weekend goal.

Also by staying home and not spending I managed to get my budget back on track. I slurged at the grocery store on Friday and needed to conserve this weekend. I wasn't certain I could but I did. Yeah.

I haven't heard anything from Eyemart Express about the discrepency in their website. I may just let the whole matter drop although it was annoying.

Yep I said home too this weekend and did not spend a coin, so that made my day. But I am not too sure what the discrepency is with Eyemart but if you spent more than you should call them back

Eyemart didn't give me the price they advertised on their website. When I questioned it in the store the clerk said "'I don't know why the website is wrong." After encouragement from people here I sent them an email explaining the situation. They never responded. I described the experience in the Blog entry "Strange Experience."

Anytime I fail to get a response from a company after a reasonable attempt to resolve an issue I go to the Better Business Bureau. I have had to do it three times (and threaten once) in the last year and it has worked every time. We have an issue with the Children's Book of the Month Club that we had tried to resolve, but they ignored us, so DH wrote a BBB letter yesterday.
But I refuse to let things drop when I feel I have been wronged Smile I hope you hear from them.
